Budgeted Outlays for DoD vs Interest Payments on the Deficit

For the FY 2008 Budget, the projected budget outlays for Military are 583.267 trillion while the payments for interest on dept is 469.919 trillion.  The payment for the interest on the dept has increased from 363.759 trillion to 469.919, an increase of 106.160 trillion, or 29.18%.
